Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from whimsy.cards, including any data we collected when you signed in with Facebook.

What data do we store?

We store your name, email address, profile photo URL, and the digital cards (stories) you have created. If you signed in with Facebook, we also store the Facebook user ID and any profile data Facebook shared with us (name, email, profile photo).

How to delete your data

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your account settings:

  1. Sign in to whimsy.cards.
  2. Go to Account Settings (click your name / avatar in the top navigation).
  3. Scroll to the "Delete account" section and confirm deletion.

Request deletion by email

If you are unable to sign in or prefer to request deletion by email, send a message to support@whimsy.cards. We will process your request within 30 days.

What happens after deletion?

All your personal data and created cards are permanently deleted from our servers. This action is irreversible. Deletion does not affect any cards that have already been shared and viewed by your guests — we do not store the viewers' personal data.

Note: Deleting your whimsy.cards account does not remove your Facebook account or affect your data on Facebook. To manage your Facebook data, visit your Facebook account settings.
